The Sporting Life is a refuge from the grind, a place to relax and recharge, and the owner Christian makes it easy to do so. Hailing from New York, the he barbershop is Christian's love letter to the traditional barbershops of the east coast.
Aesthetic
A black and white palette was the natural choice for these edits, as it coincided with their Instagram page's aesthetic, and because it evoked the classic nature of the shop. The moment captured is one gentleman getting his hair cut- classy and simple, and I wanted the warmth and camaraderie in the room to shine through these photos.
